Who we are

A technical partner who understands the computation and the lab work that has to validate it.

Bioinference is a scientific consulting firm. We work with biotech companies, investors, and research groups that need computational methods applied with the same rigor as the experiments that test them.

  • Biotech companies designing and optimizing therapeutic proteins
  • Investors and BD teams evaluating programs and platforms
  • Research groups modernizing how they work with data

Services

Three ways we help teams move faster.

Each engagement is built around your targets, your data, and the decision you need to make.

01

AI-driven protein engineering

We help teams design and optimize antibodies, binders, and engineered cell therapy components. Our work combines generative and structure-based methods, including RFdiffusion, ProteinMPNN, AlphaFold, and Rosetta, with experimental strategy so that computational output leads to testable candidates.

  • Target assessment
  • Binder discovery for difficult targets
  • Multispecific formats
  • In silico tools in existing discovery workflows

02

AI-powered scientific diligence

We provide technical diligence for investors and business development teams evaluating therapeutic programs and platform companies. Our AI-assisted research tools retrieve and synthesize literature, clinical trial records, and patents into sourced findings that can be checked.

  • Scientific rationale
  • Strength of the data
  • Competitive and clinical landscape
  • Risks in the program's technology

03

Training and custom research solutions

We review how a team collects, analyzes, and reports data, find where those workflows slow down, and build solutions that remove the bottlenecks.

  • Automated analysis pipelines
  • AI-assisted tools for routine tasks
  • Dashboards for results and program status

Agentic AI training

Scientists learn to hand multi-step work to AI agents: searching and summarizing literature, querying databases, writing and running analysis code, and drafting reports. Training uses each team's own datasets and questions, and covers how to check the output and when human judgment is required.

Approach

From model to measurable result.

Computational work is only useful when it changes what happens next in the lab or the deal room. Every project is built toward that point.

  1. 01

    Frame the question

Start from the biology and the decision at stake: the target, the program, or the workflow.

  2. 02

    Choose the right models

Generative design, structure prediction, AI-assisted research, or automation, matched to the problem.

  3. 03

    Design the experiment

Turn computational output into testable candidates and a plan your team can run.

  4. 04

    Deliver checkable results

Findings arrive with their sources and reasoning, so your team can verify them and build on them.

Founder

Built by a protein engineer.

I am a protein engineer and the founder of Bioinference. My work sits where computational design meets experimental validation, from discovery platforms to IND-enabling programs.

  1. National Cancer Institute

Eight years of research before moving into industry, with many publications in microbiology and molecular biology fields.

  2. Jecho Lab

Built the antibody discovery and protein engineering program from the ground up, including naïve phage display libraries and bispecific T-cell engager platforms. The work supported two IND submissions, three technology transfers, and multiple patents.

  3. Arcellx

Founded the company's machine learning and in silico protein design capability and led a team of three scientists. Integrated RFdiffusion, ProteinMPNN, AlphaFold, and Rosetta into experimental workflows, discovered binders against targets that had failed conventional phage display, and invented an AND-gated CAR-T logic circuit.

  4. Bioinference

AI-driven protein engineering, scientific diligence, and AI training for biotech companies, investors, and research groups.
